"With all the CRM programs out there, what makes SmartAdvocate so special? Well, I would say that it is because of all their customizable capabilities and features. They provide you with a program that has all the tools that you need to customize it to your needs. Every firm is different and therefore their needs are different. For instance, our firm needed a program that was able to manage leads and automate the handling of these potential clients. We handle thousands of leads per month and spend a fortune of money so managements of these leads is essential. Our goal was to automate our system as much as we could to create uniformity and control. Before SmartAdvocate, we were using multiple programs and spreadsheets. We were depending on staff members to do what needed to be done giving them choices and therefore making it harder to control. SmartAdvocate’s plugin and integration capabilities were huge. It allowed us to integrate with our program, Persist and therefore automating our intake department almost completely. I have been able to customize so much in the three years that we have been using SmartAdvocate. I have been able to do so because they are a phone call away. I am able to make a call, tell them what I need to accomplish and they make it happen."

Great legal case management program! Great "Notes" section to share regular information with other team members. I like that the notes can also be emailed when attached for instant notification to other team members, saving a separate e-mail. Being able to create folders within documents is helpful to stay organized and locate specific items. "Tools" function is great to search for another document example pertaining to what you may need for reference. If there is something you want to do, just review the training guide and it the solution is likely there.

We’ve been using this case management system for two years, and it has been a solid addition to our workflow. The interface is user-friendly, which makes it easy for both new and experienced users to get up to speed quickly. The system offers a variety of useful features, such as task management, document storage, and client tracking, which help keep everything organized and on schedule. One of the standout aspects is its integration with other tools we use, such as RingCentral and Outlook, which has streamlined several processes and reduced the need for this manual data entry. That being said, there are a few areas for improvement. For instance, the reporting features could be a bit more customizable, and at times the system can feel a little sluggish. While SmartAdvocate does listen and implement suggestions, the slow pace of updates is impeding. While the system has a lot of potential, changes and new features are often announced as "coming in the next update," but it can take a year or more before they’re actually rolled out. This slow turnaround time is frustrating, especially when we’ve identified specific areas where improvements could make a big difference in our workflow. Overall, this case management system has proven to be an efficient tool for managing our caseload.

We've been using SA for a number of years and I'm a huge fan. It's made my practice much more efficient and mobile. The key is to use all the features to the fullest and make sure staff is doing the same. Having all the information on the case at my fingertips from negotiation status to case status is so helpful. It also helps keep tabs on prospective cases for follow-up. I highly recommend the system but keep in mind that as with any system, you must get in the habit of working to input the required information.

SmartAdvocate makes legal case management more reliable and efficient. It has basic features (Case Notes and Case Documents) for users to easily access and review case files. There are options for users to access Case Notes and Case Documents at the same time to easily coordinate dates and times between notes and documents. There are also more advanced features for case communications. We text clients and email documents directly from the SmartAdvocate software. This gives a more professional look to our communications and makes our communications more organized and complete. The SmartAdvocate customer service also improved my outlook on case management. The customer service provided instructions on how to use the software features. The extent of their knowledge made me feel more comfortable and secure with using SmartAdvocate.
